SYNOPSIS

It's 1966 in a small country town called Padua in the Mid-West of NSW, somewhere west of Bathurst and south of Dubbo, where men and women still live in the past. But a counter-culture is happening in the cities of Australia and it is about to blow into town.

Kate is outspoken while Petruchio is unorthodox. Bianca wants to marry the richest man she can find and Lucentio wants to escape his mother. Two crazy courtships ensue and love is found in the most unlikely way under the most ridiculous of circumstances.  A madcap, controversial and thought-provoking social comedy about whirlwind marriages, blind love, speaking your mind and finding your voice.

THE TAMING OF THE SHREW was a 2018 AIM Dramatic Arts production featuring second year Bachelor of Performance students.
